Hunan MH Launches Comprehensive Capacity Upgrade Plan for Polyester Thread
In response to growing market demand and increasing customer orders, Hunan MH has officially launched a new round of capacity expansion for its polyester yarn product line. This upgrade includes three core projects: expanding post-winding equipment, constructing an external processing facility, and increasing dyeing workshop capacity. This initiative marks a significant step forward in the company’s journey toward intelligent manufacturing and supply chain synergy.
With customer orders up 16% year-over-year, MH has added 48 high-speed winding machines, which are currently being installed and tested. Simultaneously, a new external processing facility with a capacity of 150 tons per month is under construction and gradually entering production. These efforts will increase post-winding capacity to approximately 95 tons per day, effectively addressing the previous mismatch between production capacity and order volume. By upgrading equipment and optimizing the layout of external processing facilities, the company has achieved flexible allocation of production resources, ensuring a solid foundation for improved order fulfillment efficiency.
Meanwhile, the dyeing workshop’s current capacity cannot keep pace with the rapid expansion of the post-winding process. To address this, the company plans to invest in new dyeing tanks and supporting equipment, aiming to boost dyeing capacity to over 100 tons per day, seamlessly aligning with the post-winding process. This capacity expansion is not merely an addition of resources, but is guided by the core principles of "lean management + intelligent manufacturing." By introducing advanced industry equipment and integrating it with the MES system, MH will enable real-time production data monitoring and automated process transmission, enhancing efficiency and further improving quality.
The capacity upgrade plan is expected to be fully operational by March 2026, with annual production capacity exceeding 35,000 tons. This will enable Hunan MH to provide more efficient and higher-quality services to its global customers.
