Under the guidance of the “dual-carbon” goals, Hunan MH has actively responded to China’s national green and low-carbon development strategy and has continuously advanced its energy-structure transformation. We’re proud to announce that our factory’s rooftop distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation project has now been completed. On June 12, the project passed its in-house acceptance inspection—after addressing all identified issues—marking an important milestone in MH’s application of green energy and achieving a win–win for both economic and environmental performance.

The PV project was executed in two phases, with careful planning and steady progress. To ensure top quality at every step, our company partnered with a professional team to maintain strict oversight from design and construction through to commissioning. Phase I covered the east side of Building 12 and the roof of Building 23, and was successfully grid-connected on January 17. To date it has generated 895,443.2 kWh, supplying stable, reliable green power for our plant’s operations. Phase II, which covers Building 1, Building 11, the west side of Building 12, and Building 14 roofs, went online on April 28 and has since produced 545,689 kWh, further expanding our green-energy footprint.

Not only does this project significantly reduce our electricity costs, it also demonstrates Hunan Mengheng’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development. Calculations show that once fully operational, Phase I will yield approximately 1,575,500 kWh per year, and Phase II about 2,590,000 kWh per year—benefiting both our bottom line and the region’s coordinated economic and environmental growth. Looking ahead, as this project continues to run smoothly, it will contribute even more green power to regional sustainable development.
