On August 28th, the highly anticipated Russia International Textile Fabrics Exhibition (INTERFABRIC) successfully concluded at the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow. As the largest and most influential professional textile fabrics exhibition in Eastern Europe, this year’s event brought together over 1,000 companies from 18 countries, including China, Russia, Turkey, and India. Spanning the entire industry chain—covering fabrics, apparel, equipment, and footwear accessories—the three-day exhibition attracted more than 35,000 professional visitors. Sales representatives from the 4th of the International Trade Department returned with valuable first-hand market insights and promising opportunities.

The exhibition was bustling with activity, brimming with business prospects. At the MH booth, customer inquiries saw a significant increase compared to previous exhibitions, with products like mesh fabrics and elastic webbings drawing particular attention. Notably, there was a marked rise in inquiries from small-scale factories, surpassing those from wholesalers. This trend highlights the growing direct demand for high-quality fabrics and accessories in the mid-to-lower production segments of the Russian market. In response to this emerging trend, sales representatives observed that small-scale factory clients have a higher demand for specialized samples and customized products, which places greater emphasis on the need for a more agile supply chain. Moving forward, efforts will focus on enhancing rapid sampling and flexible response systems to better align with customer needs and improve conversion rates.
This participation not only significantly boosted Mengheng’s brand visibility in the local market but also laid a solid foundation for further expansion into Russia and Eastern Europe. We will continue to monitor shifts in customer demographics, strengthen supply chain capabilities, and explore new growth opportunities in global markets.
