MH #10 nickel brass closed end zipper is a finished heavy weight metal zipper with brass teeth in a nickel brass finish set on polyester tape, fitted with an auto lock slider and joined at the bottom so the two halves do not separate. Closed end construction means the zipper opens from the top only, which is what a jeans fly, a pocket or a bag opening needs, as opposed to the open end zippers used on jackets that must part completely.
The auto lock slider holds its position the moment the puller is released, so the closure will not creep open under load or movement. That matters most on the #10 chain size, where the teeth are large enough to carry real tension: heavy jeans and workwear, tool and utility bags, luggage panels, and tent and cover openings. The brass teeth are set on a woven polyester tape dyed with azo free colourants, and the tape holds its shade through repeated washing.
