Polyester texture yarn is also named 100% polyester continuous filament textured thread, or overlock thread, made of 100% polyester continuous filament DTY, which gives the thread a soft feel and makes it ideal for use in the loopers of overlocking, cover seaming to provide softness and comfort.

MH 150D/1 polyester overlock thread is a 100% polyester continuous-filament DTY textured thread wound on cones, rated Tex 18 and equivalent to ticket 160.

Typical end uses are the overlocked and cover-seamed edges of underwear, knitted garments, sportswear and children's wear, where the seam sits directly against the skin. Cones are supplied in raw white and in dyed shades, with color matched to a buyer's own approved standard for OEM and ODM production.
