Product Details

MH 20S/3 polyester core spun sewing thread is a three-ply sewing thread built on a continuous polyester filament core that is wrapped in polyester spun fibre. The two parts of the yarn do different jobs: the filament core carries the load and sets the breaking strength, while the spun sheath gives the thread a matte staple hand, grips the needle eye and takes the friction and needle heat of high-speed stitching instead of the core.

Because strength sits in the core rather than in the staple fibre alone, MH 20S/3 core spun thread is stronger than a same-count all-spun polyester thread and runs with a lower break rate on both manual and automatic machines. The three-ply construction is heavier and more load-bearing than a two-ply core spun thread of the same count, so it is used where a seam has to hold under strain: denim and jeans, work clothes and uniforms, bags and handles, home textiles and outerwear.

Key Selling Points

  • Core-and-wrap construction: MH polyester core spun sewing thread separates the two jobs of a sewing yarn, letting the filament core hold breaking strength while the spun sheath handles needle friction and hand feel.
  • Higher strength at the same count: MH core spun thread is stronger than an all-spun polyester thread of the same count, which keeps seams closed on heavy fabrics without moving to a coarser thread.
  • Stable at machine speed: The spun wrap absorbs needle heat and abrasion, giving a low break rate and fewer restitched seams on both manual and automatic sewing lines.
  • Heavy-duty seam work: MH core spun sewing thread suits denim, work clothes, uniforms, bags and home textiles, where the seam is structural rather than decorative.
  • Colour to your reference: MH produces the thread to a published colour card and dyes custom shades on request, so thread colour can be matched to a buyer's fabric lot.
  • Consistent supply: MH manufactures core spun sewing thread in-house, giving repeat buyers the same construction and shade standard across reorders.

Poly/poly core sewing thread is polyester filament combined with polyester spun yarn core, has great abrasion-resistant feature, with less break rate, is ideal choice for making jeans and work clothes.

Benefits of Using Poly-poly core thread:
  • Stronger than same size spun polyester threads
  • Superior sew ability on both manual and automatic machines with minimum interruptions - fewer restitched seams
  • Helps to Minimize Open-Seams and Seam Failures
  • Helps to minimize broken and cut stitches after finishing
Application:

Suitable for high class garments, denim fabric, home textile, bags, embroidery, etc.
