Product Description

230T twill polyester taffeta lining is a lightweight woven lining fabric with a subtle embossed surface, supplied to garment manufacturers, outerwear brands, and bag makers that need a smooth, hard-wearing inner layer.

MH supplies this taffeta lining in bulk and supports color matching to buyer references, keeping the embossed finish and 150cm width consistent across large orders for reliable, repeatable cutting.

Woven from 100% polyester at 230T density, it weighs around 70gsm and comes on 50m or 100m rolls in a wide color range. Custom colors and specifications are available for bulk orders.

Features

  • Embossed twill surface — the fine embossed texture gives linings a refined look and helps disguise creasing inside finished garments.
  • Lightweight 70gsm hand — thin enough to layer without adding bulk, keeping jackets and bags comfortable and true to their intended shape.
  • Smooth polyester face — the slick surface lets garments slip on and off easily, a practical detail buyers value in outerwear linings.
  • 150cm usable width — wide rolls cut efficiently for panel and lining layouts, reducing fabric waste in high-volume production.
  • Dyed-to-order color range — colors can be matched to seasonal palettes so linings coordinate cleanly with shell fabrics.

Application

  • Garment lining — Used by jacket, coat, and blazer manufacturers for smooth inner layers that improve fit and wearer comfort.
  • Bag & accessory production — Sourced by bag makers and accessory suppliers for durable linings in totes, purses, and cases.
  • Outerwear & casual wear — Popular with apparel brands and garment factories producing windbreakers, sportswear, and light jackets.
  • Textile distribution — Supplied to fabric wholesalers and distributors stocking lining taffeta by the roll for downstream buyers.
