MH #3 pin lock zipper slider is a locking slider for #3 nylon coil zipper chain that carries a small pin on the underside of the puller.
When the puller drops flat, the pin seats between the coils and stops the slider from drifting along the chain, so jackets, tents, backpacks, and outdoor gear stay closed under strain and movement. Lifting the puller withdraws the pin and frees the slider instantly.
