The nonwoven interlining gives the tape added stiffness and stability so it holds its shape once sewn into a waistband, while the silicone gripper strip grips the wearer's body to keep the waistband from sliding or riding down during movement.

The 100% polyester base keeps the tape durable with a smooth finish that sews cleanly into pants, skirts and uniform waistbands.
