Product Description

Polyester taffeta lining fabric is a lightweight 230T plain-woven polyester supplied to jacket makers, sportswear brands, and outerwear manufacturers who need a smooth, tightly woven inner layer. The 63D*68D yarn build gives it a slick surface that slides easily over other garments while resisting snags.

MH supplies this taffeta by the roll for bulk garment production, with custom color matching drawn from an available color card. Woven from 100% polyester at 230T density, it stays dimensionally stable through cutting and sewing, and colors are set to hold up against fading during wear and washing.

Each order ships at 150cm width and 70 g/m weight, packed 50m or 100m per roll. The plain weave carries a windproof, water-resistant, color-fast finish, and custom colors and specifications are available for bulk orders.

Features

  • Lightweight 70gsm hand — keeps finished jackets and sportswear light without adding bulk to the inner layer.
  • Tight 230T plain weave — the high thread density gives a smooth face that resists tearing and wear during garment use.
  • Slick 63D*68D surface — slides cleanly over base layers, an important comfort factor buyers look for in linings.
  • Water-resistant, windproof finish — helps outerwear shed light moisture and cut draughts, extending the fabric's range beyond plain linings.
  • Color-fast dyeing — shades stay consistent across production lots, so large garment runs match without visible variation.
  • OEKO-TEX certified — supports buyers selling into markets that require documented textile safety compliance.

Application

  • Jacket and outerwear production — Used by garment manufacturers and outerwear brands for jacket linings, windbreaker inner layers, and lightweight coat interiors.
  • Sportswear and activewear — Sourced by sportswear suppliers for tracksuit linings, training jacket interiors, and breathable inner panels.
  • Protective and workwear clothing — Popular with workwear producers for raincoat shells, protective garment linings, and light waterproof layers.
  • Outdoor and accessory goods — A regular pick for umbrella and bag makers producing canopies, pouch linings, and lightweight covers.
