Product Details

Composition: Polyester/Cotton/Wool 40/35/25

Weight: 185g/m2

Width: 112cm

Certification: OEKO-Tex Standard 100

Feature: Stiff, smooth hand feeling

This premium fusible interlining consists of quality polyester, cotton, and fur hair which is stiff on fabric.

Horsehair interlining fabric is very flexible, durable and breathable.

MH black horse hair woven interlining is a woven haircloth built on a 40% polyester, 35% cotton and 25% wool blend, produced 112cm wide at 185 g/m2 in a solid black shade.

Key Selling Points

  • Black-dyed haircloth: The black ground of this horse hair woven interlining keeps the canvas from shadowing through dark or fine suiting shells, which a natural-colored canvas often does.
  • Three-fibre woven blend: Polyester, cotton and wool are woven together so the interlining combines wool resilience, cotton stability and polyester durability in a single haircloth.
  • Chest canvas hand: The woven structure gives the crisp, springy handle tailors expect from a chest canvas, holding the front panel of a jacket in shape through wear and cleaning.
  • Certified production: This haircloth is woven under OEKO-TEX certification, so garment makers can place it against skin-adjacent panels without adding a compliance risk.
  • Custom weaving: MH can re-tune blend ratio, weight and width on the same construction, letting a tailoring programme specify its own canvas rather than accept a stock article.

This interlining works well on all kinds of garments such as suits, coats, jackets, shirts, and jeans giving strength to hems, seams, collars and more.
