Cold water soluble nonwoven fabric, also called cold water soluble paper, is mainly used for top-grade underwear, modern clothes and some special fabrics.

It meets the needs of all kinds of embroidery crafts as well.

With good flexibility and tensile strength, it keeps embroidery the same after being attached to the bottom of the embroidery lace or applique patches.

MH 40gsm PVA cold water soluble nonwoven embroidery backing is a 160cm-wide white backing paper made from 100% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) that dissolves in cold water at 38°C.

The nonwoven backing is placed under lace, applique patches and embroidered fabric to stabilize the stitching, then rinses away in cold water at 38°C without heat.

Its 40gsm weight offers good flexibility and tensile strength, so the embroidery keeps its exact shape after the backing is dissolved.

The 160cm width suits full-width embroidery and applique work, and MH produces the backing in white for top-grade underwear, modern garments and special-fabric embroidery.
