MH double dot interlining is a thermal-calendered nonwoven fusible interlining in 100% polyester, 32 g/m² at 150cm wide, coated with PA and PES glue in a double-dot pattern.
Thermal calendering bonds the polyester web under heat and pressure instead of with a chemical binder, giving a clean, even base sheet.
At 32 g/m² this is a light interlining, matched to the collars, cuffs and front plackets of mid-grade shirts, jackets and suits. Composition can also be run as polyester with nylon, and MH produces the same base in powder-spray and stitch-bond builds.
Key Selling Points
- Bond without strike-through: The double-dot build keeps adhesive from pressing through to the face of a shirt front, protecting the appearance that a fused panel exists to support.
- Light enough for fine shirting: At the lower end of the interlining weight range, the fabric adds structure to collars and cuffs without stiffening the garment.
- Clean thermal-bonded base: Calendering the polyester web under heat rather than binding it chemically gives an even sheet with predictable fusing behaviour.
- Certified for apparel export: MH interlining is produced under OEKO-TEX® certification, supporting buyers with textile compliance requirements.
- Color for light and dark shells: Black, white and grey are available, so the interlining does not shadow through a pale shirting or lighten a dark panel.
- Technique options from one mill: MH also runs powder-spray and stitch-bond nonwoven interlinings and a polyester-nylon composition, so a maker can match the interlining to each garment part.
