MH brass grommet eyelet is a compact metal eyelet with a 5 mm inner diameter and a 9.5 mm outer flange, formed from corrosion-resistant brass to reinforce small punched holes. Standing 4.1 mm high, it is small enough for lightweight garments and trims yet strong enough to hold shape once set with a standard eyelet machine.

Known also as a grommet, the eyelet lines a hole so a cord, lace, or drawstring can pass through without tearing the surrounding material. MH produces it in natural brass, nickel-plated, and antique finishes for garments, footwear, bags, leather goods, curtains, and light-duty tarpaulins, with custom sizes available for specific builds.

Eyelets Description

Also known as grommets, eyelets are small metal barrels that are inserted into holes in thin materials, and typically have a line (rope, wire, etc.) run through them. This hardware prevents tearing and abrasion of the material into which they’re installed, and provide protection for the wire, cable, or other line.  Generally compatible with textiles, sheet metal, wood, plastics, and composite materials, eyelets have one or both ends flanged to keep them in place after installation.
