MH fire retardant sewing thread is a polyester sewing thread given flame resistance by a dedicated finishing process: the thread will burn while held in a flame but self-extinguishes once the flame is removed.

Keeping its original strength, elongation and sewing performance, the sewing thread is endowed with the special effect of fire resistance by special processes. Threads that burn in flame but self-extinguish when removed from the flame.

MH fire retardant sewing thread is used on infant garments and on fire-resistant fabrics for tactical and civil end uses, including curtains, carpets, sofas, tooling suits, nightwear and protective clothing.
