Krowntex ST type metallic yarn is a wrapped metallic embroidery yarn in which a 150D polyester core yarn is completely covered by 12 micron, 1/69 inch metallized film. The wrapping construction puts the polyester core on the inside and the reflective film on the outside, so the yarn carries the tensile behaviour of a polyester thread while the visible surface stays fully metallic.
