MH needle punched horsehair canvas interlining is a two-layer chest canvas: a 185g/m2 cotton/wool/polyester horsehair surface needled onto a 120g/m2 polyester needle-punch back, forming a 305g/m2 finished fabric at 112cm width.
MH supplies the canvas for chest piece, collar and lapel reinforcement in suits and overcoats, where it helps the chest sit plump and smooth, keeps natural elasticity, and holds a small, stable shrink rate through construction and pressing.
