MH No.5 Non-Locking Zipper Replacement Slider is a zinc alloy slider head that moves freely along the chain in both directions, made to replace a worn or missing slider on a #5 zipper.
Because it is non-locking, the slider carries no spring pin or catch, so the pull never grips the teeth and the fastener can be opened or closed from either end without resistance. MH casts the head in zinc alloy and finishes it by electroplating, rack plating, electrophoresis, or painting. The same non-locking head is produced across #3, #5, #8, and #10 chain sizes, so one slider style can be fitted to nylon, plastic, or metal zippers.
