Product Details
MH 75D*75D polyester twill woven fusible interlining is a 100% polyester twill base cloth of 55 g/m2 in 150 cm width, coated with PES glue powder on one side.
MH weaves the base in black, white or a color matched to the shell fabric, and the yarn count, weight and glue system can be re-specified for a customer's own fusing programme.
Key Selling Points
- Lightest twill grade in the range: MH 75D*75D twill woven fusible interlining supports a panel while leaving the garment soft to the touch.
- Balanced warp and weft: Using the same yarn in both directions gives this twill woven interlining an even face and predictable behaviour on the cutting table.
- Single PES glue coating: The polyester glue powder film stays thin, so bonded panels keep their drape instead of feeling boardy.
- Suited to unlined tailoring: The soft hand makes this interlining a fit for unlined jackets, light suit fronts and shirt plackets.
- OEKO-TEX certified bulk production: MH runs the article under OEKO-TEX certification and weaves it in black, white or matched shades for bulk orders.
Twill woven interlining fabric is a structured support fabric made using a twill weave pattern, which is characterized by diagonal lines on the surface. This weaving technique results in a denser, more durable interlining that is ideal for garments requiring added strength, resilience, and shape retention. Compared to plain woven interlining, twill interlining offers greater thickness and drape, making it suitable for heavier or tailored garments.
Twill woven interlining fabric is widely used in structured garments such as suit jackets, blazers, coats, and trousers, particularly in areas like front panels, lapels, waistbands, and chest pieces. Its strength and ability to retain shape also make it ideal for skirts with defined waistlines, heavyweight shirts, uniforms, and fashion accessories like belts, caps, and structured bags.
