MH asymmetrical sliding zipper is a hood-to-jacket connecting zipper built with a shorter top tape on the hood side and a longer bottom tape on the jacket side.
The zipper closes on high-strength molded resin teeth mounted on a strong, flexible polyester tape, so it runs smoothly and stays reliable even in cold environments. Its asymmetrical structure creates a natural allowance that lets the hood slide with the wearer's head, easing tension and stiffness at the neck.
MH tailors both the upper and lower tape lengths to specific hood and collar dimensions and produces the zipper in solid or two-tone colorways, making it well suited to down jackets, winter coats, children's outerwear and technical apparel.
