Product Description

190T N/T taffeta fabric is a lightweight plain-woven fabric made from a nylon and polyester filament blend, supplied to garment manufacturers, lining converters, and apparel wholesalers. Its smooth, slightly stiff surface and clean drape make it a practical base for jacket linings and lightweight apparel.

MH supplies this 190T N/T taffeta in production volumes for apparel programs. Colors are dyed to order, and weight and width can be adjusted to match different lining and garment specifications rather than fixed to a single spec.

Built on 63D*150D yarn at 120g/m2, the fabric runs 58/59 inches wide and ships on 100m or 50m rolls. The nylon-polyester composition gives it high tenacity and quick-drying performance that holds up through cutting and bulk handling.

Features

  • Smooth, stiff surface — the crisp taffeta face keeps linings sitting flat inside jackets and coats without puckering.
  • Lightweight yet tough — at 120g/m2 it adds minimal bulk while resisting tearing during garment assembly.
  • High-tenacity N/T blend — the nylon and polyester filaments give strong yarn that stands up to fast production lines.
  • Shrink resistant and quick-drying — stable dimensions and easy washing reduce finishing issues for downstream makers.
  • Excellent glossiness — the subtle sheen gives finished linings a clean, professional appearance.
  • Dyed-to-order color range — shades are produced to match each buyer's collection rather than a stock palette.

Application

  • Apparel linings — Used by garment manufacturers for jacket, coat, and suit linings that need a smooth, lightweight backing.
  • Lightweight garments — Sourced by apparel brands for windbreakers, casual outerwear, and packable shell pieces.
  • Textile distribution — Supplied to fabric wholesalers and distributors for resale by the roll to smaller workshops.

Customization Service

  • Color — dyed to order against buyer shade references or physical samples for each program.
  • Weight — adjustable around the standard 120g/m2 base to suit lighter or firmer lining needs.
  • Width — cut to match production-line requirements beyond the standard 58/59 inch run.
  • Packaging — roll length options such as 100m or 50m per roll to fit different handling setups.
