Product Details
MH water soluble polyester sewing thread is a 402-spec, 40S/2 count thread engineered to dissolve completely in water, leaving no trace once its temporary stitching job is done.
The thread dissolves at approximately 20°C, so it disappears cleanly during a normal wash or rinse without residue on the finished fabric. Its transparent, natural color keeps basting stitches unobtrusive while sewing, and the polyester base gives it enough tenacity to hold a temporary seam or embroidery backing in place until it is washed away.
These properties make it a practical choice for garment basting, hem and pocket placement, and stabilizing embroidery designs before the water-soluble thread is rinsed out.
