The MH #5 Molded Plastic Separating Zipper is a #5 open-end resin zipper: each tooth is injection-molded directly onto a polyester tape, and an auto-lock slider holds the zipper wherever it stops. The open end lets the two sides part completely, which is what a jacket or coat front needs.
MH cuts it to your jacket lengths and matches tape and teeth colours to your fabric. MOQ is 6,000 pcs per colour, lead time is 25–35 days, and a free sample is available.

What lengths can you make?
Lengths are cut to order. Send your length list in centimetres or inches, one length per size in your jacket size run, and MH quotes each length.

Yes. Choose from the MH zipper colour card, or send a Pantone code or fabric swatch and MH matches the tape and resin teeth colours.
Is a two-way version available?
Yes. #5 resin zippers are made closed end, open end, two-way closed end, two-way open end and as long chain. Tell us which type you need when you ask for a quote.

Molded plastic, nylon coil or metal: which should I choose?
Molded plastic (resin) teeth are lighter than metal, do not rust and can be dyed to match the garment, which suits jackets, sportswear and rainwear. Nylon coil is more flexible for curved seams; metal gives a classic heavy look for denim and workwear.
