MH artificial PU leather is a polyurethane-coated fabric supplied in thicknesses from 0.8mm to 2.5mm at 54 inches wide, with an effective fabric width of 137cm.
The material is built in two parts. A textile base carries the strength and the stretch behaviour, and MH runs several of them: elastic fleecy cloth, velveteen, T/C cloth and interwoven fabric, each giving the finished sheet a different give and recovery. The polyurethane layer on top is where appearance and hand are decided, and it can be embossed, printed, polished, buffed, flocked, grain-kneaded or finished to a mirror or pearly face.
Footwear factories cut the material for sports shoes, men's and women's fashion shoes, leisure and vulcanized styles, indoor slippers, student shoes and nurse shoes.
