Cotton eyelet lace fabric, also sold as broderie anglaise, carries embroidered floral and leaf motifs with punched openings across a 100% cotton ground. Blouse, dress and kidswear producers buy it by the roll, alongside fashion brands and lace fabric wholesalers who need an all-cotton embroidered yardage rather than a synthetic lace.
MH embroiders the pattern in its own lace facility, using cotton embroidery thread on the cotton base so the motif and the ground take dye together. Motif layout, opening size, scallop placement along the selvedge and the color of both base and thread can be developed to a buyer's own design instead of picking from a fixed range.
The fabric runs 126cm wide on a 100% cotton base with cotton embroidery yarn, packed 30-45 yards per roll or to a buyer's cut length. Colors are dyed to order, and the natural cotton hand-feel with a light, summer-weight body makes it straightforward to cut and sew on standard apparel lines.
