Cotton eyelet lace fabric, sold in the trade as broderie anglaise, is an embroidered cotton lace fabric worked with cut-out eyelet holes across a soft white cotton ground. Garment manufacturers, blouse and dress labels, kidswear brands and lace fabric wholesalers buy it as a summer-weight fashion fabric with a natural cotton hand-feel.
MH embroiders this eyelet fabric on its own lace lines, so motif scale, hole spacing and border layout can be developed from a buyer's sketch instead of picked out of a fixed design book. White is the standing shade, and other colors are dyed to order against a submitted swatch or a Pantone reference.
The fabric runs 140cm (55 inches) wide, which lets pattern cutters nest full blouse fronts and skirt tiers in one lay with little side waste. It is non-elastic, so cut pieces stay stable through sewing, and it ships rolled at 30-45 yards per roll or to a buyer's own put-up.
