MH 40gsm SMS nonwoven fabric is built from three bonded layers of polypropylene: spunbond, meltblown and spunbond, which gives the combined fabric a barrier the individual spunbond layers alone do not provide.

At 40gsm and 160cm width, the material stays hydrophobic and breathable, which suits medical protective garments, surgical gowns, face masks and other disposable protective items.
