Product Details

MH double dot PA fusible nonwoven interlining is a 100% polyester nonwoven substrate coated with a polyamide (PA) double-dot adhesive that melts and bonds to fabric under heat.

The interlining is woven to a 90cm width and a light 40g/m² weight, and supplied in white, black and grey.

The double-dot pattern spreads the PA adhesive evenly across the surface, giving a more consistent bond and durable fusing than a solid adhesive coating.

Being a nonwoven construction, the interlining is soft, flexible and conforms readily to curved panels, which suits it to collars, cuffs, facings and other small garment parts where a light hand and clean, crisp shaping are both needed.

Key Selling Points

  • PA adhesive for consistent fusing: The polyamide double-dot coating bonds evenly across the surface, giving durable adhesion after fusing.
  • Soft, conformable nonwoven base: The nonwoven substrate flexes and shapes readily around curved panels such as collars and cuffs, unlike a stiffer woven interlining.
  • Light 40g/m² hand: The lightweight construction adds shape without making light to medium-weight face fabrics feel heavy or stiff.
  • Multi-color matching: MH offers the interlining in white, black and grey to suit different outer fabric shades.
  • OEKO-TEX certified custom production: MH produces the interlining under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and can tailor width, weight and packaging for wholesale and OEM orders.

Double dot nonwoven fusible interfacing, PA refers to the adhesive used in the interfacing that melts and bonds to the fabric when heat is applied.

The double dot pattern ensures a more uniform distribution of the adhesive, leading to better bonding and durability after fusing.

Nonwoven interfacings provide a unique set of characteristics including softness, flexibility, and the ability to conform to different shapes, making them ideal for various applications in garment construction.

A weight of 40gsm is considered lightweight, making this interfacing suitable for light to medium-weight fabrics and applications where a soft hand and some flexibility are desired.

It's commonly used in the collars, cuffs, facings, and other parts of garments to add crispness and structure.
