Product Details
MH waist and hat interlining is a T/C (polyester/cotton) woven fabric supplied in 112cm or 150cm widths, coated with LDPE glue powder for fuse-in application.
The T/C blend gives the interlining enough stiffness to hold its shape inside waistbands, trouser panels, hat brims and cap bands, preventing the sagging or distortion that can occur in unsupported fabric.
It supports both sew-in and fuse-in construction methods, letting garment and accessory makers choose the assembly process that fits their production line.
In West African markets this interlining is commonly known by the local trade names "Jeda Gum" or "Collar Gum", terms buyers can use to source the same material accurately.
Key Selling Points
- Shape-holding T/C construction: MH's polycotton interlining provides the stiffness needed to keep waistbands and hat bands from sagging or distorting.
- Sew-in or fuse-in flexibility: The fabric supports either assembly method, giving garment and accessory factories flexibility in production setup.
- Recognized local terminology: Known as "Jeda Gum" or "Collar Gum" in Nigerian and wider West African trade, helping buyers source accurately.
- Dual width options: Supplied in 112cm and 150cm widths to match different waistband, trouser and hat-brim cutting layouts.
