Product Details
MH 75D PA coated twill woven fusible interlining is a 100% polyester support fabric woven in a twill construction from 75D filament yarn and coated on one face with polyamide (PA) hot-melt adhesive dots.
The PA dot coating melts under press heat, keys into the shell fabric and stays flexible after bonding, which is why MH specifies this interlining for tailored front panels, lapels, chest pieces and waistbands.
Key Selling Points
- Twill-woven base: The twill construction of this polyester woven fusible interlining gives tailored panels firmer body and a smoother drape than a plain woven interlining of comparable build.
- PA dot adhesive: Polyamide hot-melt dots bond evenly to the shell fabric under a standard fusing press and stay flexible after bonding, so fused areas do not read hard on the face side.
- Shape retention: MH twill woven fusible interlining holds the pressed line in lapels, front panels and waistbands through wear and dry cleaning.
- Color matching: The interlining is produced in white and off-white as standard and can be dyed to shades matched against a customer's shell fabric.
- Certified production: The twill woven interlining is manufactured under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification for buyers with textile compliance requirements.
- OEM and ODM supply: MH runs the same twill base to customer-nominated weights and widths, supporting repeat programme production for garment manufacturers.
Twill woven interlining fabric is a structured support fabric made using a twill weave pattern, which is characterized by diagonal lines on the surface. This weaving technique results in a denser, more durable interlining that is ideal for garments requiring added strength, resilience, and shape retention.
Compared to plain woven interlining, twill interlining offers greater thickness and drape, making it suitable for heavier or tailored garments.
Twill woven interlining fabric is widely used in structured garments such as suit jackets, blazers, coats, and trousers, particularly in areas like front panels, lapels, waistbands, and chest pieces. Its strength and ability to retain shape also make it ideal for skirts with defined waistlines, heavyweight shirts, uniforms, and fashion accessories like belts, caps, and structured bags.
