Product Details
MH twill woven interlining is a 100% polyester fabric woven in a twill pattern at 75D x 100D yarn count to a 62gsm weight, coated with a PES adhesive.
Supplied at 150cm width in black, white and customizable colors, the fabric sits between the lighter and heavier twill grades, giving body panels enough structure to hold shape without excess bulk.
The PES coating fuses under standard press heat, bonding securely to face fabric across suit, jacket and shirt body panels.
Key Selling Points
- Mid-weight twill balance: At 62gsm, the fabric sits between light and heavy twill grades, adding structure without excess bulk.
- Body panel focused: Well suited to suit, jacket and shirt body panels where a twill base is specified for shape support.
- Reliable PES fusible bond: The PES adhesive coating bonds securely to face fabric under standard press conditions.
- Custom color production: MH customizes color and finish on this twill interlining to match specific garment programs.
Twill woven interlining fabric is a structured support fabric made using a twill weave pattern, which is characterized by diagonal lines on the surface. This weaving technique results in a denser, more durable interlining that is ideal for garments requiring added strength, resilience, and shape retention. Compared to plain woven interlining, twill interlining offers greater thickness and drape, making it suitable for heavier or tailored garments.
Twill woven interlining fabric is widely used in structured garments such as suit jackets, blazers, coats, and trousers, particularly in areas like front panels, lapels, waistbands, and chest pieces. Its strength and ability to retain shape also make it ideal for skirts with defined waistlines, heavyweight shirts, uniforms, and fashion accessories like belts, caps, and structured bags.
