Taffeta lining is a plain-woven fabric made most often from silk, but it can also be woven with polyester, nylon.
There are two distinct types of silk taffeta: yarn-dyed and piece-dyed.
Piece-dyed taffeta is often used in linings and is quite soft.
Yarn-dyed taffeta is much stiffer and is often used in ball gowns, wedding dresses
It can be plain dyed color and printed.
170T, 180T, 190T, 210T, 230T, 240T, 260T, 300T (100% Poly) can be coated with PA, PU, PVC, gold, silver, white, red, and black.
Polyester taffeta, suitable for jackets, suiting, umbrellas, car covers, sportswear, handbags, sleeping bags, tents, table cloths, chair covers and other high-end garment linings.
