Product Details

Polyester taffeta lining fabric is a tightly woven 100% polyester material with a smooth, crisp hand and a subtle sheen. The 180T low-density build keeps it lightweight and economical, which is why apparel makers and bag manufacturers reach for it as an interior lining layer.

MH supplies this taffeta across the full density range, from 180T to 190T low density through 210T to 230T medium and 290T to 300T high density, so buyers can match weight to the end product. Colors are dyed to order, and coatings or finishes can be arranged for bulk programs.

It runs 150cm wide at roughly 52 g/m2 on a 55D by 75D yarn build and ships on 50m or 100m rolls. The plain weave resists wrinkles and holds a clean finish through cutting and sewing.

Features

  • Lightweight 180T build — trims garment and bag weight without adding bulk to the lining layer.
  • Smooth plain weave — feeds cleanly through cutting tables and sewing lines, reducing production friction.
  • Wrinkle resistance — polyester fibers spring back, so finished linings stay presentable after handling and storage.
  • Full density range — one supplier covers 180T linings through 300T shells and outer layers.
  • Dyed-to-order color — shades are matched to brand palettes and seasonal ranges across large runs.
