Business Tour | MH in Cote d'Ivoire

Today, Jerry Yan offers valuable insights from his assignment in Côte d'Ivoire, where he plays a pivotal role in Business Department 6, concentrating on the Côte d'Ivoire market.

My Impression About Cote d'Ivoire

Côte d'Ivoire is a coastal country in West Africa, also known as the Ivory Coast. Its economic capital, Abidjan, is nicknamed the "Paris of Africa." The climate here is hot, with abundant rainfall, lush vegetation, beautiful scenery, a long history, and ancient culture. The religious atmosphere is very strong, and the language and culture are diverse due to different historical backgrounds.

Walking on the bustling streets of Côte d'Ivoire, I was deeply impressed by the roadside stalls and vendors. The enthusiastic and lively market atmosphere keeps people coming back and forth, always discovering something new.

My Business Daily

Ajame Market is the largest commodity market in Ivory Coast. Every day, after completing my work with domestic partners, I enjoy browsing the nearby shops, collecting samples, providing quotes, and listening to customers' thoughts.

Due to rapid growth last year, many clients now have significant inventory, leading to a notable decrease in market prices. This shift has impacted our order intake this year. Moreover, as more competitors enter the fray, the competition has intensified. Although MH still maintains a high market share, the challenge of delivering high-quality products while enhancing our services, increasing customer loyalty and satisfaction, and developing new products to identify fresh growth opportunities is something we urgently need to address.
